Jack Brooks

Doctoral student

Jack is a doctoral student in Duke’s clinical psychology program. A Michigan native, Jack received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from NYU and worked as a research intern at Rutgers University and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai before moving to San Diego to work at a residential treatment center. Jack’s research focuses on the influence of health beliefs and behaviors on treatment engagement and outcomes. She is particularly interested in the use of existing digital technologies like the Internet and mobile phones to make assessment and interventions more accessible to underserved populations.
