Hira Ahmed, MA
Clinical Research Assistant
Hira graduated with her master’s in Bioethics and Science Policy from Duke University and is working as a Clinical Research Assistant with our team. Her master’s thesis explored the ethical implication of online informed consenting in clinical trials both from a participant’s and a researcher’s perspective. Hira received her bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University (Go Wolfpack!) in Biological Sciences – Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology with minors in Biotechnology and Microbiology. She is interested in exploring ethical, social and legal implications surrounding the use and scalability of digital health interventions, such as mhealth, both locally and internationally. Hira is a fun loving individual who loves binge watching some of her favorite TV shows and indulging in random DIY projects around the house.
