Launched in 2013, the mHealth@Duke conference was the first of many creative cross-disciplinary collaborations through active dialogue and sharing of research ideas in mHealth at Duke. Each year, the conference provides attendees the opportunity to learn about innovation in mHealth and to hear from featured speakers representing Duke Medicine, Trinity College, the Nursing School, Pratt School of Engineering, College of Arts and Sciences and the VA. We are honored to be joined by colleagues from UNC, NC State, NC A&T, and from universities all over the country.
mHealth@Duke aims to accelerate research on the use of sensors and mobile technology to advance the delivery of health care through improved patient-provider communication and collaborative health care management. Through our consortium and series of events throughout the year, we provide a venue for education and leadership development in the mHealth space. We also serve as an incubator for mHealth research by helping consortium members identify funding resources, exchange ideas with colleagues across Duke schools, and partnering with mHealth-focused academic, industry, and non-profit groups in the Triangle.
